Learners are required to complete 3 mandatory units:

  • Exploring Mental Health
  • Understand How to Support Individuals With Mental Ill Health
  • Understand a Mentally Healthy Environment

In practical terms, the course covers a range of topics and teaches many tangible skills that can be implemented by learners on a day-to-day basis, including:

  • The nature of mental health problems
  • How to identify mental health problems
  • The impact of mental health problems on the workplace
  • How to provide support for those with mental health problems
  • How to advocate for mental health in the workplace
