The updated Care Certificate Standards (March 2025) sets out explicitly the learning objectives, competences and standards of care that will be expected in both sectors, ensuring that the HCSW/ASCW is caring, compassionate and provides quality care.

Overview

This eLearning course will allow individuals to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding for the updated (March 2025) standard 13 of the Care Certificate.

Optional screening assessment allow individuals who can demonstrate prior knowledge to “fast track” their completion of the learning and assessments.

“Assessment of performance” is recorded using the observation toolkit (available separately).
