Overview

This eLearning course will allow individuals to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding for the updated (March 2025) standard 11 of the Care Certificate.

Optional screening assessment allow individuals who can demonstrate prior knowledge to “fast track” their completion of the learning and assessments.

“Assessment of performance” is recorded using the observation toolkit (available separately).

  • Circumstances where there could be contact with a child or young person in the normal course of work within adult social care.
  • Factors that may contribute to a child or young person being more at risk of abuse.
  • Types of abuse that a child or young person could be at risk from.
  • How to respond to a risk, suspicion, or disclosure that a child or young person is being abused or neglected.
