The Care Certificate sets out explicitly the learning objectives, competences and standards of care that will be expected in both sectors, ensuring that the HCSW/ASCW is caring, compassionate and provides quality care.

This e-learning course will allow individuals to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding for standard 1 of the Care Certificate.
Optional screening assessment allow individuals who can demonstrate prior knowledge to “fast track” their completion of the learning and assessments.
“Assessment of performance” can be recorded using the observation toolkit (available separately).
