EdgeWorks™ is delighted to announce that we have been successful in our application to be a Quality Assured Care Learning Service (QACLS) endorsed training provider, recognising the high quality of our programmes and our commitment to supporting the health and social care workforce.
Developed by Skills for Care and funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), the QACLS sets a national benchmark for learning and development in the sector. It confirms that EdgeWorks™ meets all required organisational quality standards and that our qualifications deliver trusted, high-quality outcomes for learners and employers in the sector.
Mark O’Shea, Operations Director of EdgeWorks™, commented:
“Becoming a QACLS endorsed training provider demonstrates our absolute commitment to raising standards in care workforce training. Our learners and employer partners can be confident that our delivery model meets the highest national quality standards, is accessible, evidence-based, and designed to improve care outcomes. We are proud to play our part in strengthening the skills, confidence, and resilience of the sector.”
From the 2026 – 2027 financial year, only courses and qualifications delivered by training providers that have been quality assured will be eligible for funding or inclusion in the Care Workforce Pathway. This means that employers will not be able to claim funding for courses and qualifications identified in the Adult Social Care Learning and Development Support Scheme that are not quality assured.
