For people who have dementia, communication can be especially difficult. Your good intentions may not be enough to understand and send the right message and so training is required.
Overview
This e-learning provides the knowledge and understanding required to develop awareness of differing communication needs and abilities of individuals with dementia in order to enhance positive interaction.
It maps to the underpinning knowledge for the Skills for Care Dementia Knowledge Set QCF unit T/601/9416 (DEM205).
Available as an accredited unit, it will also support the undertaking of a Dementia Pathway Diploma in Health and Social Care.
