The new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification launches on June 3rd 2024.
The qualification is not a direct replacement for the existing Care Certificate induction, it will be a fully accredited and funded qualification. Competition for the funding is expected to be high and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So if you are hoping to deliver this qualification, you need to be planning ahead now.
Fortunately, here at EdgeWorks we are working hard to provide some much-needed assistance to help you get ahead of the game.
Our team has cross-mapped the outcomes of the mandatory units of the Care Certificate to see where they match the new qualification. This Mapping Toolkit will be invaluable in enabling you to easily map your induction against the new qualification, identify gaps and evidence any Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) prior to enrolment.
