We’ve launched a new AI feedback tool for Care Academy. It helps assessors review written answers faster and more consistently.
EdgeWorks™ has introduced a new AI-powered feature in the Care Academy platform to support assessors marking written assessments.
The AI Assessment Assistant reviews each learner’s answer and compares it to the question, assessment criteria, and marking scheme. Based on this, it generates structured feedback in clear, professional paragraphs.
If an answer meets the required standard, learners receive tips on how to improve future responses. If it does not meet the standard, the AI provides focused, constructive advice to help learners resubmit successfully.
For assessors, the tool fits easily into the existing marking workflow. The AI-generated feedback can be accepted as-is, edited, or ignored. Assessors always stay in control of the final result.
This is a major step forward in using AI to enhance learner support. It improves feedback while keeping the human element firmly in place.
The feature is now live and available to all Care Academy qualification assessors.
