Guide 2 Care have announced that a new protocol for safeguarding adults in social care services has been developed by the Association of Directors of Social Services (ADSS), Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) and Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI).

This new association of key agencies is due to be launched on 26th March 2007 and their aims are to stamp out abuse, neglect and bad practices throughout the care services in England.
