EdgeWorks™ has been selected to take part in a prestigious European wide interactive TV (iTV) learning project led by Volkswagen TV and funded by the Leonardo da Vinci EU support programme.
The project involves 20 partners from 8 European countries collaborating on the development and evaluation of an interactive training and information channel. EdgeWorks™ was selected to participate in recognition of our market-leading position as e-learning specialists and will contribute to the research, development and testing stages, sharing our knowledge and expertise to ensure the successful completion of the project.
The project aims to research and test interactive learning opportunities for small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) across Europe, using the existing Volkswagen iTV platform, an interactive training and information channel which is a proven success within its sector.
A key outcome of the project is to see if the Volkswagen iTV technology can be applied outside Germany and specifically the car industry to potentially meet the e-learning needs of diverse SME’s across Europe. The results will help inform future interactive training and e-learning possibilities on a Europe-wide scale.
EdgeWorks™ is proud to be involved in this innovative project that could have a far-reaching impact for the future development of e-learning in Europe. We will keep you updated on the progress of this project.
