Edgeworks Launches New Product "JobDept"

Edgeworks has today announced the launch of their unique Recruitment Marketing Solution ‘JobDept’ (http://www.jobdept.co.uk/).

JobDept enables companies to maximise the organic exposure of their job vacancies across popular search engines, vertical (job specific) search engines, job boards, RSS directories and blogs to ensure access to the widest pool of talent.


JobDept meets key industry guidelines for:

UKQCS signs as Care-Academy Partner

Edgeworks announced today that UK Quality Care Solutions (UKQCS) are the latest organisation to sign up to the Care-Academy Partner Programme. UK Quality Care Solutions provides quality management support and training to the care industry. Care-Academy Develop CWDC Induction Programme

Edgeworks has today announced they are developing an Induction programme meeting the requirements of the Children’s Workforce Development Council Induction Standards.

New Care Agency focused Induction programme to be launched in April 2007

C-I-C learners pass 1,000 course completions within first 6 months

A new starter at Community Integrated Care (CIC) today completed the thousandth course since the CIC Care-Academy went live. This has been achieved within 6 months of the programme launch and shows how well the management and new starters within CIC rate the programme. The CIC Care-Academy alone sees over 100 course completions each week at present.

Edgeworks to demonstrate the value of online learning in the care sector

Edgeworks has been invited to present the value of online learning to the Knowsley Care Partnership on March 7th 2007.

Paul Allman, Edgeworks Head of Learning will give a short presentation focusing on the practicalities and benefits of using online learning in the Care sector.

His presentation will last approximately 20 minutes and include a short demonstration of Edgeworks Care-Academy together with Questions and Answers.

Care-Academy Offline Course Management - Version Upgrade

Edgeworks has today released a version upgrade to the current SKILLS365 Offline Course Management module used within the Care-Academy.

Edgeworks Care-Academy has been developed to assist care organisations to meet the requirements of the Skills For Care (formerly TOPSS England) Induction Standards. The Care-Academy combines a mix of on-line learning, classroom and workplace activities to ensure learning is both enjoyable and effective.
